Glittery Gold and Silver Masquerade
March 23, 2011
On Sunday we celebrated Purim with a glittery, gold and silver masquerade in my home! It was a lot of fun, we had a big party with lots of friends and family. I just wanted to share some pictures with you!
This was our wine and liquor bar. I used metallic gold tablecloths on the tables and on the walls, and attached circles of gold and silver glitter to make it sparkly and fun.
I have to tell you about these gorgeous ostrich feather drabs- I ordered them from Plumes and Feathers and I was very impressed with their service and prices. The feathers were absolutely gorgeous, and now I have a stunning centerpiece sitting on my dining room table
The beaded lamp is from Target.
All the desserts were served in various wine glasses (plastic). I sprinkled edible gold and silver sprinkles on the tiramisu, rum balls, and chocolate pudding.
I love the mosaic vases I got from L’Ideale Gifts! The rum balls were displayed on jewelry stands from Target.
This is NOT MILK! It’s a yummy, sweet almond drink. I’ll post recipes soon.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the glittered candlesticks (not real candles) from L’Ideale Gifts!
This was the dinner buffet table. Dinner consisted of roast, sesame chicken, beef and broccoli lo mein, sushi, mini hot dogs, spicy fries, and a delicious asian salad. Recipes will be posted!
Thank you to all our guests who made it a fabulous party!
